WELCOME BACK TO STORM HOCKEY
We are pleased to be back with a new and young team again this year. With Jason Brooks and Chris Hajt behind the bench the team will fit into the competitive hockey we are used to seeing.
Two of our valued volunteers resigned at the end of this past season, but we are sure to see a lot of them in the arena. Best wishes from the Tracker club to Bill Scott and Fred Synnott, who both put in approximately 18 years with the club.
Our most important role within the Storm organization is to present the scholastic award each month to a team member based on his participation and academic performance. The overall season winner is then our nominee to the OHL for the Bobby Smith Award.
Other cash awards are made at the end of the season to Storm nominees to the OHL, are for the Roger Neilson Award, for academics at the university level, and the Ivan Tennant Award for academics at the high school level. There is also an award for the winner of The Co-operators Community Involvement Award.
Our bus trips were a great success in the past years, and we hope to have many more good times this year. Join us for a road trip, watch for our signs at the Trackers Table. We are located on the Concourse level BEHIND Section 116. Sign up to be a member or come see the Storm news of the week.
Thank you for your continued support of the "Storm Trackers Club", the official club of the Guelph Storm Jr. A Hockey Club.
Have a great season with the Guelph Storm Hockey Club 2009/2010.
Best Wishes to the Team for the upcoming season.
